This necklace is made from unpolished handcrafted ostrich shell beads. This necklace is designed in the typical Ovahimba style, a tribe that lives in the northern part of Namibia. The beads are made by crushing the shell of an ostrich egg and grinding the pieces over a stone. Holes are drilled into the small pieces later. This necklace is a traditional African piece that represents the craft of jewelery making of the Ovahimba tribe but still it is elegant and modern with its organic and natural appeal. The length of the necklace 50 cm.
